Ivan Sokolov won the 40th edition of the World Open held at Philadelphia in July. Sokolov tied for first with Alexander Shabalov and won the Armageddon playoff game below to win the title and a little more cash. Sokolov took home $12,927, while Shabalov took $12,674.
