    Vassily Ivanchuk won again in round 2 of the ACP Golden Classic, defeating Le Quang Liem with the black pieces. Krishnan Sasikiran also won with Black, against Baadur Jobava, and Emil Sutovsky drew with White against his sometime employer Gata Kamsky. (Anna Muzychuk had the bye.)
