IM Nikolay Noritsyn won the 2011 edition of the strong Quebec Open. In the presence of 8 GMs and 19 titled players, IM Noritsyn grabbed the first position without losing a single game. He finished with a total of 7,0/9, half a point ahead of the Cuban GM Walter Arencibia Rodriguez and a full point ahead of 2009 Quebec Chess Champion GM Anton Kovalyov.

Vladimir Kramnik was the convincing winner of the main GM group with 7/10 only spoiled with a final round loss to Nakamura. He was a point and a half clear of Le Quang Liem. Young Dutchman Robin van Kampen won the Helmut-Kohls-Turnier. Mikhail Zaitsev won the A-Group.
