Armenia won the 8th World Team Championship in Ningbo China. They scored 14 points and were the only undefeated team winning five matches and drawing four. They were a point clear of China who in turn were a point clear of Ukraine. Russia lost to India in the final round and finished outside the medals. Final Round report and event round up below.

Armenia won the World Team Championship in Ningbo, China. In the last two rounds 2-2 twice, against Azerbaijan and Ukraine, was enough to finish clear first. The last round is still very much in progress, but after Armenia made an obvious package deal with Ukraine their match is over. With four draws, agreed to simultaneously, the match was drawn as well, and no matter how China does against Hungary the championship belongs to Armenia. Congrats!
