The 5th edition of the International Chess Tournament Bazna Kings is going to take place 11th to 22nd of June 2011.
Participants are Magnus Carlsen, Vassily Ivanchuk, Sergey Karjakin, Hikaru Nakamura, Teimour Radjabov, and local hero Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu.

FIDE has awarded titles at the Presidential Board Meeting in Al Ain. The family increases with 21 GMs, 50 IMs, 9 WGMs, and 10 WIMs. Among them are two commentators of Chessdom.com - GM Alexander Ipatov and WGM Iva Videnova.
To celebrate the title, GM Ipatov will be joining for live commentary of Sigeman & Co and Bazna Kings 2011.

The 2nd Chairman Prospero Pichay Jr. Cup International Chess Championship was held on 2-8th June 2011 in Subic Freeport, Philippines. 86 players from seven federations, among them 13 Grandmasters, competed in the 10-round tournament. A total of $30,000 in cash prizes was allocated for this event.
