Yesterday, I presented the following position: It's Black to move in the ICC blitz game "jelmatos" (GM) - "Headstrong" (IM). White has just played 27.Ra1-f1, and the question is whether Black should play 27...Nxf2 or perhaps something else. The answer is here.

Unfortunately for curious chess fans, as of this writing at least, he still hasn't spilled the beans about how he did in his informal 40-game blitz match against Carlsen after the blitz championship.

Here's FIDE's statement about the Candidates Matches. As Chess Today notes, it doesn't seem to have shut the door on Magnus Carlsen, who ostensibly has until December 22 to sign the contract and play in the matches, which are scheduled for May 3-27 in Kazan, Russia.

That's for all three of the blogs put together over the past 5+ years. I know there are blogs that might even manage to reach that figure in a week or two, but it's still a pretty decent number.

This is generally worth checking out for the theoretical goodies, as correspondence players very often delve into the very sharpest opening lines (e.g. 6.Be3 and the Poisoned Pawn in the Najdorf, various 5.Bg5 Semi-Slav lines, attacking lines in the Marshall Gambit, etc.).
